女子美術大学 洋画専攻

洋画専攻非常勤講師の大小島真木さんの個展のお知らせです。

本展覧会が開催される第一生命は、企業メセナ活動の一環として、現代美術の展覧会「ＶＯＣＡ（ヴォーカ）展（ＴｈｅＶｉｓｉｏｎｏｆＣｏｎｔｅｍｐｏｒａｒｙＡｒｔ）－現代美術の展望」の受賞作品を所蔵し、第一生命ギャラリーで常設展として公開しております。
また、年に数回、ＶＯＣＡ展受賞作家の個展を開催し、作家の方には発表の場を、一般の方々には現代美術鑑賞の場をご提供しています。
今回は「ＶＯＣＡ展２０１４」ＶＯＣＡ奨励賞受賞者、大小島真木の個展を開催致します。

Statement about this exhibition

《 Individual’s life is ending, a bird comes to pick it. The body resolved by bird is eaten by forest.Forest makes me it’s seedbed and I become tree. The heart is beating.》 This sentence is piece of the story is narrated in this exhibition.

　There are fallen trees in Yakushima island in south Japan. And new buds of tree grow up on seedbed of life-ending trees. Animal’s body dead in the forest is eaten by other wild animals and insects, resolved by microbe and go back to the soil.

Human also live along the life chain made by life-and-death circle like other plants and animals. We aware that an organism is also a part of flows of life, and a peace of water source of great sprits beyond individuals.—And then, we might feel mountain, river, wind, faire and soil –the whole universe in our organs inside.

I want to draw out this course of life — the story of life circle in natural world.
